ENGLEWOOD, CO -- (Marketwire) -- 04/02/12 -- Evolving Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: EVOL)
Evolving Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: EVOL), a leading provider of software solutions and services to the wireless, wireline and cable markets, today announced that it has been granted a US patent for its Dynamic SIM Allocation (DSA) solution.
"Our deep technical expertise in SIM card activation enabled us to develop an entirely new approach that overcomes the inflexibilities in conventional provisioning processes, and this patent protects the key technological advances behind our new approach," said Bill Chard, VP Product Management.
Dynamic SIM Allocation was launched in 2007 and has been selected by carriers throughout Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia. By changing the way SIM cards are activated, it allows carriers to deliver an enhanced and differentiated end-user experience, whilst also significantly reducing sales logistics costs.
Thad Dupper, Chairman and CEO, commented, "We believe Dynamic SIM Allocation is the new standard for SIM card activation, and we are very pleased to be awarded this US patent as it continues to mark Evolving Systems' DSA solution as unique."
