FMCN is practically the sole advertising agency for the 2008 Summer Olympics in China, because the Chinese government has given the company it's blessing to be in this position. It is expected to purchase the remaining competitors in the field (as it has repeatedly done so in the past). The profits for the advertising have most likely been realized already from pre-sales but the global limelight should shine favorably on this company and set it off to a good future. The government is putting many advertising spaces up for auction in a 'clean up' effort before the Olympics and FMCN is presumed to be the top and most favored bidder, other advertising agencies will lose business however.
