Freescale Semiconductor, Inc (NYSE:FSL) is a global leader in embedded processing semiconductors and solutions, where an embedded process includes the combination of embedded processors, semiconductors and software. Often times, the embedded processor products include microcontrollers, single- and multi-core microprocessors, applications processors and digital signal processors used in the automotive, networking, industrial and consumer markets.
