Global Investor Services, Inc. (OTCBB: GISV) is an online investor education company that offers proprietary investor tools and provides group and one-on-one coaching. The Company employs a staff of investment experts, education specialist, and coaches who offer tutorial, mentoring, and advisory services. GISV’s digital products are fully integrated into an online platform that serves beginner through advanced investors. GISV provides the research, analysis, financial news, and information to help the self-directed investor control personal finances and develop successful trading strategies. Products are marketed online and directly through a growing number of industry and marketing partnerships. GISV’s brands include:
1. InvestView is the Flagship Brand where the Company markets and sells investor education products and services; and 2. Razor Data delivers financial information through subscription-based services. Financial Update
Revenues for FY 3/31/10 will be reported at end of June 2010 and are expected to be in the range of $1.2 million to $1.4 million. At the height of the financial crisis in the last half of 2008, the Company ceased all direct marketing efforts due to the poor sales results it experienced and the Company began in earnest to convert all its education and investor services products to an online platform. The online conversion was completed in May of 2009 at which time the Company began to market online and sell its products and services on a subscription basis. The strategy to convert to online and to a subscriber basis have had a positive business effect and the Company will report on this shortly.
