EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Current Report on Form 8-K/A (“Amendment No. 2”) amends the Current Report on Form 8-K/A that was filed by Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. on January 11, 2010 (the “January 11 filing”) to refile the consent of KPMG LLP. The consent filed in the January 11 filing incorrectly identified the date of the January 11 filing. This Amendment No. 2 corrects the filing date in the consent. No other changes have been made.
