Macro International (ICF Macro), a subsidiary of ICF International (NASDAQ:ICFI), was recently awarded a new task order under its U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide support to the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP) Underage Drinking Prevention Education Initiatives. This recompete, five-year agreement, which consists of one base year and four option years, is valued at over $17 million.

ICF Macro will provide a wide range of tasks that include conducting national forums, facilitating thousands of local town hall meetings, developing and managing innovative Web sites and social networking sites, and assisting with other social marketing and health communications activities. The contract will apply best practices to serve CSAP’s diverse audiences of youth, parents, health practitioners, policymakers, researchers, and media professionals.
