Charles Knott was appointed Divisional Vice President, Performance Adhesives, in the USA and in 1994 became Senior Divisional Vice President and General Manager for the US Adhesives business. In 1995 he relocated to Singapore to lead National Starch’s Asia-Pacific operations as Corporate Vice President. He was appointed National Starch Chief Operating Officer in January 2001. In March 2003 he became Chairman and Chief Executive of Quest International, and Executive Vice President and member of the Executive Management Team of ICI.
