(JBL) is one of the largest global suppliers of electronic manufacturing services (EMS) used in communication products, computer peripherals, and Auto Makers industries. JBL also offers system assembly, test, order fulfillment, and repair and warranty services. The company is one of the country's leading manufacturers of printed circuit boards, electronic components, and systems and offers a wide range of value-added design services to its existing and new customers. Its customers include Cisco Systems, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Marconi, Network Appliance, NEC Corporation, Nokia, Quantum, Philips, and Valeo S.A., EMC Corporation and Tellabs, Inc. For fiscal 2007, Jabil's revenue of $12.3 billion was derived from the following sectors - Consumer 29.0%, Networking 20.0%, Instrumentation and Medical 17.0%, Computing and Storage 12.0%, Computer Peripherals 8.0%, Telecommunications 5.0%, Automotive 5.0%, and Others 4.0%. Of the total revenue, Cisco contributed 15.0% and Nokia 13.0%. Its top ten customers accounted for approximately 62.0% of revenue. Effective September 1, 2007, Jabil has split its business into two major divisions, the Consumer Electronics division and the EMS division. The Consumer Electronics division will be dedicated to consumer products, such as cell phones and mobile products, televisions, set-top boxes, and peripheral products. As such, Mobility & Displays and Peripherals are now included under the Consumer division. The EMS division will focus on the traditional and emerging electronic manufacturing services business sectors. Traditional sectors include products that have used the outsourcing model for a longer time, including networking, computing, storage, and telecommunications businesses. Emerging sectors include automotive, medical, industrial, instrumentation, defense and aerospace. The company has made one more division, the After Market Service Division, previously known as the Repair and Warranty Services Group.
