Keppel earned S$360 million in the three months ended March, up from S$339 million in the same period a year ago. Revenue for the quarter was S$2.81 billion, down 6.1 per cent from S$3 billion a year ago.

KEPPEL Corp said it had a "solid contract backlog" of $12.5 billion as at the end of last year, enough to keep its yards busy over the next two years amid the downturn in energy exploration caused by lower prices.
In a filing to SGX, Keppel says it has control of 90.9 per cent of the total number of issued shares in Keppel Land. Keppel needs to own 90 per cent of the minority shareholders’ shares, before the compulsory acquisition threshold is triggered.
