Its products are known as mobile enterprise solutions,extending a company's or government's IT to include mobile users. It helps company provide a wireless environment for information management. Kingtone can help companies seamlessly integrate accounting and enterprise resrouce planning with data collected by sales and delivery agents. [1]
The recent deployment of 3G in China has increased the demand for mobile enterprise solutions. Kingtone is able to collaborate with the wireless service providers to help them sell this bandwidth from 3G. According to Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the three largest mobile service providers have invested $44 billion in 3G from 2009-2011. The 3G industry is expected to have sales of $146.5 billion. [1]
The company's initial public offering of stock filed on the NASDAQ and went public on 14 May 2010. It priced at $4.00, the low range of the initial offer price range of $4-$6. The company sold 4 million shares to raise $16 million. [1]
For FY2009 with year ended 31 December 2009, the company grew its revenue from $4.3 million in FY2008 to $11.2 million in FY2009, a growth rate of 162%.
