Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) is an electric utility company in Seoul, South Korea. KEPCO provides a significant majority of South Korea's energy needs through generation, transmission and distribution. As the parent company, it owns numerous subsidiaries, including:

  • Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co.
  • Korea South-East Power Co., Ltd (KOSEP)
  • Korea Midland Power Co., Ltd. (KOMIPO)
  • Korea Western Power Co., Ltd. (KOWEPO)
  • Korea Southern Power Co., Ltd. (KOSPO)
  • Korea East-West Power Co., Ltd. (EWP)
  • KEPCO China International Ltd. - this is slated to be sold.

It operates nuclear, hydro and thermal energy. It also develops battery chargers, most notably for automobiles.
