Operating Income and Operating Margin

As a result of the cumulative effect of the reasons explained above, our operating income decreased by 16.5% from (Won)1,478.3 billion in 2007 to (Won)1,234.3 billion (US$978.1 million) in 2008. Our operating margin decreased from 10.3% to 7.6% over the same period.
