Payment guarantees

The Company receives payment guarantee from ABN AMRO Bank amounting to USD8.5 million relating to value added tax payments in Poland. As of September 30, 2009, the Company entered into a payment guarantee agreement with a syndicate of banks including Kookmin Bank and Societe Generale in connection with a EUR70 million term loan credit facility of LG Display Poland Sp. zo.o. LG Display Poland Sp. zo.o. is provided with a payment guarantee amounting to PLN180 million by PKO Bank and others to be eligible for the “Simplified Procedure” (deferral of VAT payment), and the Company provides payment guarantee to PKO Bank and others in connection with their payment guarantee. In addition, the Company provides payment guarantee for the USD17 million term loan credit facility of LG Display Singapore Pte. Ltd.

LG Display Japan Co., Ltd. and other subsidiaries have entered into short-term credit facility agreements of up to US$30 million, EUR3.6 million, and JPY5,200 million with Mizuho Bank, Ltd. and other various banks. LG Display Japan Co., Ltd. and LG Display Taiwan Co., Ltd. are provided with repayment guarantees from the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and ABN AMRO Bank amounting to JPY1,300 million and US$4 million, respectively, relating to their local tax payments.

LG Display Japan Co., Ltd. and other subsidiaries have entered into short-term credit facility agreements of up to USD30 million, EUR3.6 million, and JPY5,200 million with Mizho Corporate Bank and other various banks. LG Display Japan Co., Ltd. and LG Display Taiwan Co., Ltd. are provided with repayment guarantees from the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and ABN AMRO Bank amounting to JPY1,300 million and USD4 million, respectively, relating to their local tax payments.
