Resolution on Capital Injection into the Largest Shareholder or Affiliate

 

On July 7, 2005, the Board of Directors of LG.Philips LCD Co., Ltd. (NYSE symbol: LPL) approved and ratified a resolution to inject additionally the capital of LG.Philips LCD Nanjing Co., Ltd., its subsidiary in China, as set forth below:

 

1. Amount of additional capital investment    : KRW 25.4 billion
2. Attendance of Outside Directors of BOD meeting    : 5 Outside Directors
3. Shareholding ratio    : 100% subsidiary of LG.Philips LCD Co., Ltd.
