Luxottica closes the acquisition of Alain Mikli
Milan (Italy), January 23, 2013 Luxottica Group S.p.A. (MTA: LUX; NYSE: LUX), a leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of fashion, luxury and sports eyewear announced the closing today of its acquisition of Alain Mikli International, the French luxury and contemporary eyewear player.
The transaction was previously announced on November 2, 2012. As a result of this acquisition, Luxottica will significantly strengthen its luxury brand portfolio.
