Manpower Inc announced quarterly earnings increase of 31 percent. Net income increased to $131.7 million, or $1.57 per share, in the third quarter, from $100.6 million, or $1.16 per share, a year ago. Sales increased by 15 percent to $5.3 billion. Analysts expected earnings of $1.42 per share on revenue of $5.22 billion, according to Reuters Estimates. Manpower’s fourth-quarter guidance also exceeds analyst expectations.
