Item 7.01    Regulation FD Disclosure

 

As previously announced, Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. (“MMC”) will hold an Investor Day on Thursday, December 7, 2006. MMC's senior management will discuss the company's strategic outlook, financial performance, and growth initiatives.

 

The event will be hosted by Michael G. Cherkasky, president and chief executive officer of MMC, and will include presentations by senior executives of MMC and its operating companies.

 

The event will begin at 8:00 a.m. ET and conclude at approximately 2:00 p.m. on December 7, 2006. A live audio webcast and accompanying slide presentations may be accessed from MMC's website at www.mmc.com. Following the event, the webcast and slide presentations will be archived at the same web address.
