On June 26, 2007, Matrix Service Company announced that Matrix Service Industrial Contractors, Inc., its wholly owned subsidiary, has executed a fabrication and construction contract with Plains All American Pipeline, L.P. for the construction of above ground storage tanks in connection with the construction of additional refined product storage at its terminalling facility in Paulsboro, New Jersey.

On October 10, 2006, Matrix Service Company announced that Matrix Service Inc., its wholly owned subsidiary, has executed an Engineering, Fabrication and Construction (EFC) contract with Plains All American Pipeline, L.P. (NYSE: PAA) for the construction of additional above ground storage tanks in connection with Phase II construction activities at Plains’ St. James Terminal facility in Louisiana. Matrix Service Inc.’s work on Plains’ Phase II project is expected to be approximately $26 million.

The scope of work during the Phase II development will entail construction of approximately 2.7 million barrels of additional tankage at Plains’ crude oil storage and terminalling facility in St. James, Louisiana. The Phase II project will expand Plains’ total capacity at the facility to 6.2 million barrels.

On September 19, 2006, Matrix Service Company announced that Matrix Service Inc., its wholly owned subsidiary, has executed an agreement with Plains Marketing, L.P., a subsidiary of Plains All American Pipeline, L.P. (NYSE: PAA) for the turnkey Phase VI expansion of Plains’ crude oil storage and terminalling facility in Cushing, OK, including the Engineering, Fabrication and Construction (EFC) of additional tanks.

Under the Phase VI expansion, Plains will construct approximately 3.4 million barrels of additional tankage. The Phase VI project will expand the total capacity of the facility to 10.8 million barrels and, including manifold modifications, is expected to cost approximately $48 million, for which Matrix Service Inc. will be the primary contractor. It is estimated that the new tankage will become operational during the fourth quarter of calendar 2007.

On June 30, 2006, Matrix Service Company (“Matrix”) issued a press release which announced it has been reinstated to the Russell 3000® Index effective June 30, 2006 by Frank Russell Company. Index membership will go into effect immediately as of July 1 and will remain in place for one year. On December 28, 2005, Matrix Service Company (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing it had reached an agreement to settle one of its contract disputes in which it will recover $10.0 million and has been granted an arbitration award of approximately $10.3 million plus interest and reasonable and necessary costs, including attorney fees on a second contract dispute. The $10 million agreed to in the first contract dispute is due to be paid to the Company by February 20, 2006 and is subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions, including the execution of mutual releases and the dismissal of pending litigation with prejudice. Under the terms of the arbitration award on the second contract dispute, the Company has been directed to submit itemized statements of its attorney fees and other costs, which it believes could result in collection proceedings by the end of the third fiscal 2006 quarter. These two contract disputes arose from two separate project sites from the Eastern Division for work completed in 2004.
