(e) On April 8, 2009, the Compensation Committee of Matrixx Initiatives, Inc. (the Company) approved an amendment to the Companys cash bonus plan for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2009, which was adopted on May 8, 2008 (see Item 5.02 of the Companys Report on Form 8-K, filed May 13, 2008) and amended on October 21, 2008 (see Item 5.02 of the Companys Report on Form 8-K, filed October 22, 2008), to exclude from previously established earnings targets incremental expenses associated with the retirement of the Companys former President and Chief Executive Officer.
