Limited Brands. Limited Brands sells womens intimate apparel, personal care and beauty products, and womens and mens apparel under various trade names through its specialty retail stores and direct response (catalogue and e-commerce) businesses. Limited Brands selected the MicroStrategy Business Intelligence Platform as its strategic enterprise reporting and analysis standard. Limited Brands currently uses MicroStrategy for human resource and category management reporting across all brands and plans to expand its use into other functional areas such as financial reporting and customer analysis.
Herbalife. Herbalife is a global network marketing company that sells weight management, nutritional supplement and personal care products intended to support a healthy lifestyle. Herbalife Ltd. selected the MicroStrategy Business Intelligence Platform to facilitate sharing of pertinent information. Previously, requests for complex business data took several days to complete. With MicroStrategys zero-footprint web interface, Herbalife employees have access to information at their fingertips from consistent data sets, which provides them with greater insight and improved analysis capabilities.
The First American Corporation. The First American Corporation, the nations largest data provider, selected MicroStrategy as a business intelligence solution. First American expanded its deployment of MicroStrategy across the enterprise to support internal and external business intelligence applications. First American uses MicroStrategy to provide reporting and analytic applications that will help integrate information from its 75 separate business units and subsidiaries. First American has been a MicroStrategy customer since 2002. MicroStrategy was adopted by First Americans Enterprise Technology Group for applications involving real estate and lender products and services, including an extranet for more than 30,000 escrow officers, real estate agents, mortgage brokers and bank managers. The extranet provides reports for customers to assist them in cross-selling products, providing marketplace analysis and providing customer marketing assessments. First Americans LoanPerformance subsidiary also utilizes the MicroStrategy Business Intelligence Platform for improved analysis and reporting of mortgage industry data trends.
European Medicine Agency. European Medicines Agency, based in London, is a decentralized agency that serves to protect and promote public and animal health through the evaluation and supervision of medicines for human and veterinary use. European Medicines Agency chose the MicroStrategy Business Intelligence Platform as its enterprise business intelligence standard. More than 40,000 users including regulators, pharmaceutical companies and health care professionals analyze safety information for drugs before and after they are introduced to the market. MicroStrategy reporting and analysis applications are used for the EudraVigilance database and access pharmacovigilance data residing in an Oracle® data warehouse.

Ace Hardware Corporation. A customer since January 2001, Ace Hardware expanded its deployment of the MicroStrategy platform in 2004 for enterprise-wide reporting and analysis on marketing initiatives, retail pricing, category management, merchandising, inventory, wholesale pricing and customer loyalty programs like Helpful Hardware Club. Approximately 6,400 corporate employees, vendors and Ace retailers are using MicroStrategy to analyze and report on over a terabyte of data housed in a Teradata data warehouse.
Cingular Wireless. With more than 25 million voice and data customers across the United States, Cingular Wireless is a leader in mobile voice and data communications. Cingular selected MicroStrategy for its ad-hoc analysis capabilities. Approximately 100 marketing users will perform customer churn analysis using customer

Table of Contentsand financial data stored in a Teradata data warehouse. Cingular will utilize MicroStrategy to track and analyze sales and marketing data to provide end users with greater insight into its customer acquisition and retention programs.
E.I. DuPont de Nemours & Company. DuPont Crop Protection serves production agriculture with products for the grain and specialty crop sectors as well as forestry and vegetation management. DuPont selected MicroStrategy to anchor its Development Data Warehouse, a business intelligence tool that analyzes, summarizes, manages, and reports on global field development trials for crop protection chemicals. With over 150 users, DuPonts business intelligence solution has several custom applications including Custom Dynamic Grouping, which involves consolidation and business decision management; Management Console, which involves warehouse management for Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) and maintaining global standards; and Enterprise Manager, which involves report usage statistics distributed via email. Using these custom applications, DuPont generates over 4,000 reports a month.
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The FBI will be using the MicroStrategy Business Intelligence Platform to analyze and access data in the Bureaus Investigative Data Warehouse. MicroStrategy technology will support information sharing among law enforcement, intelligence and homeland security agencies. Information sharing among these agenciesimportant to national securitywill be enhanced by MicroStrategys ability to provide a Web-based, collaborative environment for hundreds of analysts to access vast amounts of data. This information sharing is intended to make it easier to respond and react to possible homeland security threats.
