Mid-America Apartment Communities (MAA)

Certain prior period amounts have been reclassified to conform to the 2008 presentation; specifically, certain contract labor expenses related to landscaping activities which were previously classified within the landscape line of property operating expenses have been reclassified to the personnel line of property operating expenses and certain communities have been reclassified as held for sale. The reclassifications had no effect on net income available for common shareholders.
