Unfortunately today it's worth your original investment. You did get $325 dividend so the gas bill was paid however with the 30% increase coming up either you hope for dividend increase or buy another 300 shares. I never did that, but consider this...at todays price I would need to buy about $50M worth...seems like a lot, but the stock consistently doubles in value in about 5 years so in 5 years one would have enjoyed gas bills covered by dividends and $50M in stock appreciated to $100M...
