They have crashed a lot along with the market recently, selling at $2.21 right now, with a 52 wk high of $13.87. They project they'll submit a complete plan for developing Pebble Mine by 2010, and anticipate 5-7 years of permitting before they can start mining. They've already invested over $200 million into researching the site so are pretty committed to making it happen. If it's a success, it will be the largest copper producing mine in the history of the world. I predict within the next 5 years this company will be worth up to 10 times what it is now. Minerals and metals seem to me like the only sure investment right now. They'll always be needed no matter what happens to the economy.
