Net Sales

Sales of our seismic products for the three months ended March 31, 2009 decreased by $11.7 million, or 36.5%, from the corresponding period of the prior fiscal year. Sales of our seismic products for the six months ended March 31, 2009 decreased by $18.3 million, or 30.2%, from the corresponding period of the prior fiscal year. All product categories contributed to this sales decline which reflects the significant reduction in oil and gas exploration and development activities precipitated by the global economic crisis and the rapid decline of oil and gas commodity prices in recent months.

Net Sales

Sales of our thermal solutions products for the three months ended March 31, 2009 decreased by $1.2 million, or 29.7%, from the corresponding period of the prior fiscal year. Sales of our thermal solutions products for the six months ended March 31, 2009 decreased by $0.8 million, or 10.5%, from the corresponding period of the prior fiscal year. The decline in sales for both periods resulted from weaker demand of all thermal product categories due to a weakening economic climate impacting many of our smaller customers in this business segment.

Net Sales

Sales of our seismic products for the three months ended December 31, 2008 decreased by $6.6 million, or 23.3%, from the corresponding period of the prior fiscal year. The sales decrease was primarily due to a $4.5 million decline in sales of our reservoir products and a $2.4 million decline in seismic exploration sales from our subsidiaries located in Canada and the Russian Federation.

Net Sales

Sales of our thermal solutions products for the three months ended December 31, 2008 increased by $0.5 million, or 13.9%, from the corresponding period of the prior fiscal year. This increase was primarily due to increased sales of thermal imaging equipment and was partially offset by weaker foreign currency sales at our subsidiary in the United Kingdom.

Net Sales

Sales of our thermal solutions products for the three months ended June 30, 2008 decreased $0.4 million, or 9.6%, from the corresponding period of the prior fiscal year. While most of our Thermal Solution product categories were down slightly from the corresponding period of the prior fiscal year, we consider this sales decline a general and normal fluctuation in our sales distribution channel and do not attribute this decline to any adverse market condition. Sales of our thermal solutions products for the nine months ended June 30, 2008 increased $0.1 million, or 0.5%, from the corresponding period of the prior fiscal year. There were no substantial sales increase or decrease in any product category.

Net Sales

Sales of our thermal solutions products for the three months ended March 31, 2008 increased $0.6 million, or 18.0%, from the corresponding period of the prior fiscal year. Sales of our thermal solutions products for the six months ended March 31, 2008 increased $0.5 million, or 6.9%, from the corresponding period of the prior fiscal year. These sales increases reflect improvements in both film and equipment sales.

Net Sales

Sales of our thermal solutions products for the three months ended December 31, 2007 decreased $0.2 million, or 4.6%, from the corresponding period of the prior fiscal year. This decrease resulted from a decline in sales of thermal imaging equipment.

Net Sales

Sales of our thermal solutions products for the three months ended June 30, 2007 increased $0.1 million, or 2.9%, from the corresponding period of the prior fiscal year. Sales of our thermal solutions products for the nine months ended June 30, 2007 increased $0.2 million, or 2.1%, from the corresponding periods of the prior fiscal year. The increase in sales for each of these periods resulted primarily from increased sales of thermal imaging equipment. These sales increases were partially offset by a decline in thermal film sales for each period.

Net Sales

Sales of our thermal solutions products for the three months ended March 31, 2007 decreased $0.4 million, or 10.4%, from the corresponding period of the prior fiscal year. Such decrease is primarily the result of lower film and equipment sales during the quarter. We believe this decline in demand is temporary in nature and consistent with past market fluctuations. Sales of our thermal solutions products for the six months ended March 31, 2007 increased $0.1 million, or 1.6%, from the corresponding periods of the prior fiscal year. This increase in sales is primarily from increased sales of thermal imaging equipment and thermal printheads resulting from manufacturing process improvements. This increase in sales was partially offset by a decrease in thermal film sales for the period.

Net Sales

Sales of our thermal solutions products for the three months ended December 31, 2006 increased $0.5 million, or 17.9%, from the corresponding period of the prior fiscal year. This increase is primarily due to increased sales of thermal imaging equipment and thermal printheads due to manufacturing process improvements implemented since the first quarter of the prior fiscal year. This increase was partially offset by a decrease in thermal film sales.

Net Sales

Sales of our thermal solutions products for the three and nine months ended June 30, 2006 increased $0.9 million, or 26.5%, and $1.1 million, or 11.1%, respectively, from the corresponding periods of the prior fiscal year. This increase in sales is the result of growth in all product categories which we believe results from a broader acceptance of our thermal imaging products in the markets we serve.

Net Sales

Sales of our thermal solutions products for the three and six months ended March 31, 2006 increased $0.8 million, or 24.5%, and $0.2 million, or 3.3%, respectively, from the corresponding periods of the prior fiscal year. This increase is the result of growth in all product categories and the resolution of production difficulties experienced in prior periods.

Net Sales

Sales of our thermal solutions products for the three months ended December 31, 2005 decreased $0.6 million, or 16.1%, from the corresponding period of the prior year. This decrease is primarily due to a decline of equipment and printhead sales due to production difficulties in meeting the demand for thermal printheads. These difficulties are considered temporary and we believe such difficulties will be resolved in the near term.

Net Sales

Sales of our thermal solutions products for the three months ended June 30, 2005 decreased $0.2 million, or 4.3%, from the corresponding period of the prior fiscal year. While sales did not change significantly in any particular product line from the prior fiscal year, sales of thermal solutions products decreased marginally from the corresponding period of the prior fiscal year. During the three months ended June 30, 2005, we experienced shortages of certain component parts which delayed the shipment of certain customer orders. Such shortages are considered temporary and were isolated only to certain suppliers. Sales of our thermal solutions products for the nine months ended June 30, 2005 increased $0.3 million, or 3.3%, from the corresponding period of the prior fiscal year. This increase in sales is primarily due to the purchase of the thermal printhead production assets from Graphtec and our consequent sale of printheads during a portion of that nine-month period.

Net Sales

Sales of our thermal solutions products for the three months ended March 31, 2005 decreased $0.2 million, or 6.8%, from the corresponding period of the prior year. While sales of many thermal solutions products decreased marginally from sales in the corresponding quarter of the prior year period, sales of thermal printheads were low during the quarter due to the relocation of the printhead production assets that we purchased from Graphtec from Japan to Houston. As is discussed in further detail above under the heading “Overview – Thermal Solutions,” this relocation is complete and we resumed printhead production operations at our Pinemont facility in April 2005. Sales of our thermal solutions products for the six months ended March 31, 2005 increased $0.5 million, or 7.7%, from the corresponding period of the prior year. This increase in sales is primarily due to the purchase of the thermal printhead production assets from Graphtec and our consequent sale of printheads during a portion of that six-month period.

Net Sales

Sales of our thermal solutions products for the three months ended December 31, 2004 increased $0.7 million, or 23.3%, from the corresponding period of the prior year. This increase is due to increased equipment sales as well as increased printhead sales resulting from the Graphtec acquisition on September 30, 2004 (discussed above under the heading “Industry Overview – Thermal Solutions”).
