further years of service were accrued after that date. If

The present values were calculated using the same interest rate and mortality assumptions as are used for valuations under FASB Statement No. 87 for financial reporting
purposes. The present values as of December 31, 2008 were determined using: (i) a 6.25% discount rate, and (ii) the plans normal retirement age of 65. The present values reflect postretirement mortality rates based on the RP2000
Mortality Table with Blue Collar Adjustment Projected with Scale AA to 2010. No decrements were included for preretirement termination, mortality or disability.
