Item 2.02 – Results of Operations and Financial Condition. On August 7, 2012, OraSure Technologies, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2012, and providing financial guidance for the third quarter of 2012. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference. Spair, the Company’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, discussed the Company’s consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2012, provided financial guidance for the third quarter of 2012 and described certain business developments.
