(Nasdaq: OSTK) today announced that it is partnering once again with MerchSource to collect donations for the U.S. Marine Corp Toys for Tots Program. The program will enable consumers to purchase toys, gifts and electronics on the Overstock.com website and then donate those products directly to Toys for Tots. Overstock.com will designate 30 to 40 of MerchSource's popular toy and gift products, ranging from arts and crafts sets to remote control cars and telescopes, which Overstock.com consumers can purchase and donate directly to the Toys for Tots campaign. Overstock.com and MerchSource will cover the shipping expenses to get these items to Marine depots, where local Toys for Tots representatives distribute them to families during the holidays. Over the past three years, Overstock.com and MerchSource have collected more than $400,000 in toy donations from Overstock.com customers through this program.
