Pitney Bowes to Share Latest Customer Communications Strategies and Solutions at World Health Care Congress

Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE: PBI) today announced that it will be sharing best practices and advanced communication management solutions that help health care organizations drive patient and plan member engagement, increase revenues, and reduce costs at the World Health Care Congress, April 16-18, in Washington, DC.

“Engaging consumers in the most effective and relevant ways and improving member behavior are critical focus areas for health care organizations,” said Patrick Fogarty, vice president and commercial sector leader, Pitney Bowes Management Services. “Health care organizations are constantly challenged at the enterprise level in focusing and coordinating their customer and member communications. Our customized solutions can streamline the document creation and delivery processes, facilitate compliance, and enable personalized multi-channel communication delivery and analytics to influence patient and member behavior while improving outcomes.”

The World Health Care Congress brings together more than 1,600 executives and leaders from health systems, health plans, purchasers, state policy and government to focus on what the industry can do to improve health care.

Pitney Bowes Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Johnna Torsone will speak from the corporate health plan buyer’s perspective during the session titled: "The Future: Purchasing & Design Strategies in an Era of Health Care Transformation." In addition, Pitney Bowes Consultant Adam Collinson will discuss how health care organizations can manage industry-specific regulations while reducing their undeliverable mail in the following session: “Proactive Approach to Managing Undeliverable Mail".

Congress attendees will have access to the new IDC Health Insights white paper, “Health Payer Consumer Communications: Strategies for Engagement”. This white paper, sponsored by Pitney Bowes Software, presents an assessment of health plan consumer communications initiatives, including the current status of strategies, and potential weaknesses in health plans' current approaches, processes, organizational structures and technology tools. The white paper also looks at the projects and investments health plans expect to activate to improve their consumer communications in the future.
