Explanatory Note This Amendment No. 1 on Form 10-K/A amends the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2007, as filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on March 17, 2008 (the “Annual Report”), to include in Item 15 the financial statements of FGIC Corporation as required by Regulation S-X Rule 3-09. This amendment is not intended to update any other information presented in the Annual Report as originally filed.
