Yardville National Bancorp

On October 26, 2007 we acquired Hamilton, New Jersey-based Yardville. Yardville shareholders received in the aggregate approximately 3.4 million shares of PNC common stock and $156 million in cash. Total consideration paid was approximately $399 million in stock and cash. Yardville’s subsidiary bank, Yardville National Bank, is a commercial and consumer bank and at closing had approximately $2.6 billion in assets and $2.0 billion in deposits.
