The CPUC approved four new PG&E renewable energy projects. The deal, which will generate two additional megawatts of power for the state, included two hydroelectric plants, a biogas and combined heat and power generator, as well as a cogeneration plant (one that generates both energy and useful heat).
The CPUC approved a settlement for PG&E’s rates. They authorized an additional $213 million in annual revenue to support general upkeep of PG&E’s infrastructure as well as upgrades to their electric and gas distribution systems.
