Announcement of the 2009 – 2013 Business Plan (Rio de Janeiro, October 17, 2008). – PETRÓLEO BRASILEIRO S/A - PETROBRAS, [Bovespa: PETR3/PETR4, NYSE: PBR/PBRA, Latibex: XPBR/XPBRA, BCBA: APBR/APBRA], a Brazilian international energy company, announces that the Board of Directors, during the meeting held today, decided to postpone the announcement of the Business Plan for the 2009 – 2013 period, previously scheduled for this month, to the end of the year, on a date yet to be set, due to the need to complete project analyses on account of the new conjunctural conditions.
