(i) 8th bidding for exploratory blocks of ANP In November of 2006, Petrobras acquired twenty-one new exploratory blocks of the twenty-two areas it competed for in the 8th Round of Bidding conducted by the National Petroleum Agency - ANP. Petrobras acquired exclusive rights for seven blocks and a further fourteen blocks in consortium with other companies, two of which the Company will operate. The bonuses offered by Petrobras and its partners amounted to US$130, with the Company accounting for US$116. This Bid has been suspended in full, because of the injunction awarded by the Federal Courts of the Federal District.
