John S. McFarlane, 58, former chief executive officer of Ascendent Telecommunications Inc., a leading developer of mobility and disaster recovery technology solutions for voice communications, 2004-2005. Formerly president and chief executive officer of Nexsi Systems Corporation, a developer of high-end network infrastructure and bandwidth management services, 2001-2002. Director since 2000.
