HAMILTON, Bermuda, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Platinum Underwriters Holdings, Ltd. (NYSE: PTP) will report financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 after the close of trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Wednesday, October 21, 2009.

The Company will host a teleconference to discuss the financial results on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 8:00 a.m. Eastern time.
