Based in Pleasanton, CA, Polycom, Inc., (PLCM), is a leading provider of video and audio conferencing equipment and related network infrastructure. While Polycom started out in the audio conferencing equipment business (and is still a leader in this market), video conferencing products now represent over one half of the company's total sales. Revenues by major product line in the fourth quarter of 2007 were as follows: Video Communications (49.1%), Voice Communications (37.4%), and Network Systems (13.5%). Revenue by region was as follows: North America (55.8%) Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (22.8%) Asia (18.6%) and Latin America (2.8%).
