Overview
The PowerShares Cleantech Portfolio (Fund) is based on the Cleantech Index™ (Index). The Fund will normally invest at least 90% of its total assets in securities that comprise the Index and ADRs based on the stocks in the Index. The Index is designed to track the leading cleantech companies, from a broad range of industry sectors that offer the best investment returns. The Cleantech Index is a modified equally weighted index currently comprised of stocks of publicly traded cleantech companies and American Depository Receipts based on such stocks. [1]
