The Standard & Poor’s SmallCap 600 index covers approximately 3% of the US domestic equities market and includes a total of 600 companies with a market capitalization ranging from $20 million to $2.3 billion. The average market capitalization per company is approximately $540 million. The peer group is an index weighted by the relative market capitalization of the following two companies, which were selected for being in an industry
