Polish synthetic rubber producer Synthos, which wants to acquire local fertiliser maker Pulawy, said on Wednesday it plans to switch the fuel for Pulawy's planned 850 megawatt power plant from gas to coal to cut costs.
Poland's treasury may want the country's largest chemical group Pulawy to pay more than 25 percent of its 2008/2009 profit in dividends, Adam Leszkiewicz, the deputy treasury minister, was quoted as saying on Saturday.
