RFMI provides low power wireless solutions, and provides the connections that will extend the edge of the Internet. RFMI offers wireless solutions including comprehensive industrial wireless sensor networks as well as high performance RF components. RFMI has a core strategy in low power wireless technologies.

RFMI was founded in 1979 by three engineers from TI; The company had an IPO in 1993 and gross revenues exceed $50M in 2006. Positive cash position from 2004 through 2006 positioned RFM for two strategic growth acquistions in September 2006 - Cirronet and Aleier.
