Rainmaker Awarded New One-Year Agreement for Lead Development by Fortune 50 Hardware Client

CAMPBELL, Calif., Sept. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Rainmaker Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: RMKR), a leading provider of sales and marketing solutions offering hosted application software and execution services, today announced it has been awarded a one-year contract for lead development services by its current Fortune 50 Hardware client to support the client's strategic inside sales center focused on direct sales and channel partner facilitation.

Under the agreement, Rainmaker will provide outbound telemarketing services and partner with the client's inside sales team to facilitate generation and closing of sales leads with small and medium business accounts for all three of the client's business units across virtually all product groups. Rainmaker was selected based on its ability to generate highly qualified sales leads as well as help establish long-term and ongoing relationships with potential new customers. Rainmaker and the client have designed the solution to help new customers with both their immediate needs and to establish an ongoing sales relationship so that the client is top of mind when new IT needs arise.
