Dr. Borron is an Attending Physician in Emergency Medicine and Medical Toxicology at University Medical Center of El Paso in Texas, a Level-1 trauma center and university teaching hospital. In addition, Dr. Borron is Chief Medical Officer for SafetyCall International, a private poison control center providing 24-hour emergency call center support, post marketing surveillance, regulatory and general toxicology consulting support to the industry. He is also President and Chief Medical Officer at International Toxicology Consultants, LLC, a medical toxicology consulting firm providing regulatory and general toxicology consulting, contract clinical and laboratory research, litigation support and workplace disease investigation.

Dr. Borron is a Professor of Emergency Medicine and Medical Toxicology at Texas Tech University Health Science Center's Paul L. Foster School of Medicine and Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine (Surgery) and Director of Emergency Medicine Research at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
