Same store sales have been week for the last year. This weakness may continue, which would negatively impact income.

Weak consumer spending in 2008, could adversely affect sales. Select Comfort's mattresses usually list for higher prices than traditional innerspring mattresses. If the U.S. experiences a recession, then consumers may not buy a new mattress or may opt for the cheaper innerspring ones.
