Adjusted Loss from Operations. Adjusted loss from operations is net loss before taxes, other income (expense) – including interest and investment income, interest expense, equity in net loss of affiliate, depreciation, impairment charges, and stock-based compensation expense.

           • Three Months: For the three months ended September 30, 2007 and 2006, adjusted loss from operations was $56,892 and $83,153, respectively, a decrease of $26,261. The decrease was primarily driven by an increase in total revenue of $74,673 as a result of a 50% increase in our subscriber base, which more than offset increases in expenses of $48,412.
         
  • Nine Months: For the nine months ended September 30, 2007 and 2006, adjusted loss from operations was $220,190 and $346,331, respectively, a decrease of $126,141. The decrease was primarily driven by an increase in total revenue of $228,395 as a result of a 50% increase in our subscriber base, which more than offset increases in expenses of $102,254.
