It is being slammed like a home builder, when in fact it doesn't have unsellable homes rotting on abandoned lots. It owns the near zero maintenance land. 1 There is no more land to be made/discovered. (like commodities) 2 The aging US demographics ensure a huge influx of new Florida residents, those that want to retire close to the water. 3 People are living longer, reducing resales (all else being equal) 4 The price of housing is correcting, land, not so much.
