We breed varieties with high-yield potential that can resist and tolerate pests and diseases. We develop genetics that address the needs of consumers and distributors as well as processors and commercial growers. In 2005, we launched more than 150 new varieties into the high value European and North American market, in the key pepper, fresh market tomato and watermelon markets. Further, we strengthened our direct to retailer fresh produce activity, Dulcinea Farms™, in the United States.
