Taser International posted strong Q3 results due to increase in sales and lower taxes paid by the company. The net income for the quarter was $6.2 million, or 9 cents per share, compared to $2.4 million, or 4 cents per share last year. The revenue was $28.5 million; an increase of 56 percent from $18.3 million last year. Analysts had estimated earnings of 5 cents per share on revenue of $23.7 million.
