Notifications of a settlement began going out to customers of TJX stores who may have been affected by the computer breach at TJX. The settlement offers vouchers, cash, identity theft insurance and other benefits to customers who were affected in the database hacking incident.
TJX Companies Inc said reached a settlement with all but one of the seven banks and bankers groups that sued it after a security breach put millions of shoppers' credit data at risk.
TJX had disclosed in March that data from 45.7 million credit and debit cards were stolen from its computers by hackers over 18 months.
