This excerpt taken from the TISI 10-K filed Aug 15, 2005. Fair Value of Financial Instruments
The Companys financial instruments consist primarily of cash, cash equivalents, accounts receivable, accounts payable and debt obligations. The carrying amount of cash, cash equivalents, trade accounts receivable and trade accounts payable are representative of their respective fair values due to the short-term maturity of these instruments. The fair values of the Companys credit facility are representative of their carrying values based upon the variable rate terms and managements opinion that the current rates offered to the Company with the same maturity and security structure are equivalent to that of the credit facility.
