On April 29th, 2008, Teleflex issued its first quarter report for FY2008. Revenues from continuing operations were up 37%, mainly due to the acquisition of Arrow International. Profits fell, however, 48.3% due to costs associated to the deal.
On January 7th, 2008, Teleflex announced annual earnings from continuing operations in the $3.70-$3.90 per share range. This was below analysts' expectations of $4.20 per share.
On July 23, 2007, Teleflex announced it would acquire Arrow International to augment its Medical segment. The deal was completed on October 1st, 2007.
